Henry Hallam (1777-1859) was an English historian who was a fellow of the Royal Society and a trustee of the British Museum. In calf bindings. Externally, generally smart with slight wear to spines and loss to spine labels and marks to boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages generally bright and clean, aside from slight spotting to free endpapers. Bookplates to front pastedowns of both volumes. Very Good Indeed

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
