Modest offsetting on front fly from the jacket flaps, a bump and a little sunning at the top of the front panel near the crown, else near fine in modestly spine-toned, very good or better dust jacket with faint toning on the spine and a little curled at the edges. A nice copy of the very uncommon English edition of this novel about murder and the mass mind, the popularity of which was instrumental in gaining Faulkner the Nobel Prize. Basis for the 1949 Clarence Brown film. Despite a lack of stars, this was considered one of the most powerful films about racial prejudice ever made. *Haycraft-Queen Cornerstone*.
