Condition: fair (front label soil; spine label unreadable; ink-stamp number at bottom of preliminary page; sewn binding cracked in center; pages quite eright). -- SCARCE. William Hickey was a Protestant curate who wrote under this pseudonym, mostly advice on farming, but also on the poor state of the Irish populace and landlord relations [A.Brady].
