Thomas Moore was an Irish poet, singer and songwriter, best celebrated for this collection of Irish Melodies. Includes an illustration to the title page. Prior owner's book plate to the first pastedown. Also includes prior owner's ink inscription to the first free endpaper of a poem. In full morocco binding. Externally, smart. There is some bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. There is some light rubbing to the leather in these areas. Prior owner's book plate to the first pastedown. Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
