This book highlights several works (some new, some previously published) by Irish writer and dramatist Paul Vincent Carroll, including eight short stories, three one-act plays, and one three-act play. A devout Catholic, Carroll used the stage as a medium to respectfully criticize the Church's influences on Irish society in the formative years of the Irish Republic.
