Presented by the charismatic, knowledgeable and softly spoken Jack Hargreaves, it proved to be a winning formula and ran for a further twenty two years. Jack, with his shed, hat, pipe and whiskers, became a household name for both this and other television programmes he fronted including the popular chidren's factual programme 'How'.. First.
