Square quarto, cloth spine over illustrated paper covered boards featuring a color Aldin drawing ot the title dog-and-cat pair. Unpaginated, with 24 one-page "chapters", each with a full page Aldin illustration facing. Spine strip rubbed and with wear about all edges, as well as light even soiling and a couple very small scuffs. The colors, however, are still strong. Corner of the front free endpaper has an ink inscription "Pimpette, Christmas, 1928"
