Included in this volume are rare images from some of the key cult photographers of the time: Harry Amdur, Bunny Yeager, Allen Cobert, Robert Silverberg, Jack Bradley, Leonard Burtman, Irving Klaw, Dean Hamilton, and Sam Menning. A contemporary of Bettie Page, Jackie Miller arrived in New York City in the mid-'50s and soon found herself as one of the era's most popular models. Towering at 5'11, she was no demure wisp who walked softly and faded into the background. Instead she was determined to be seen. Her photographs convey a woman eager to smash the conservative moral attitudes of the day. This is the first ever book of photographs dedicated to this legendary model.
