Philadelphia: Philobilon Club, 1923. Hardcover. Near Fine. 24 p.; 22 cm. Grey cloth spine; marbled paper over card with printed paper label on front board. Seymour De Ricci (1881-1942), bibliographer and historian, presented this address to the Philobiblon Club of Philadelphia while he was in the city "searching up the Casanova literature in the city libaries" at the invitation of Dr. Rosenbach. He discusses the earliest editions of the famous memoirs, as well as the life of their author, Giacomo Casanova (1725-1789). In Near Fine Condition: board edges are lightly rubbed; clean and tight.
