Sobre este artículo

London: Geoffrey Bles, 1924. An important early critical study of the premier modernist author of the XXth century. Herbert (Sherman) Gorman (1893-1954), also an historical novelist, eventually wrote the first full biography of Joyce (1939). The work includes an outline of Joyce's Life, selected articles on "Ulysses," and a bibliography. This is a Very Good Plus to Near Fine copy of the First English Edition. Gray paper-covered boards with red cloth spine and a paper label. There is no publication date, but per Copac and LOC, it would be 1926, two years after the American edition. Clean text; 238 pages. Discreet bookseller label on front paste-down; endpapers have typical offset. The spine label is darkened and has a tiny chip. A lovely copy of this important title, which is uncommon. No dustwrapper; in an archival plastic protector. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. First UK Edition.. Hard Cover. Very Good Plus/No Jacket.
