Sobre este artículo
Hammersmith Local History Group, London, 1961. 1st edition. Card covers. Good/No Jacket. Trace of label removed from front cover. This is both a biography of the nurseryman and a history of the nursery run by Lee with his partner Kennedy, whose name denotes its use as a vineyard in former times. An appendix lists the many plants that were first introduced to cultivation by the firm. The section on Lee's daughter Ann doesn't mention the large collections of her flower drawings in the Earl of Derby's library at Knowsley Hall and at Kew, but rightly compliments her on the quality of her work. A valuable contribution to horticultural history. x, 88 pp.
