London: Oxford at the Clarendon Press, 1932. Book. Fair. Hardcover. 1st Edition. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. NB: No dustjackets. Blue marbled paper-covered boards with titles within paper labels on blue cloth spines. Condition: Fair to good, both volumes have general shelfwear to covers, more so to cover corners which are quite rubbed. Faint water splashmark to front cover of Volume I. Some foxing and browning to spine labels. However there is a spare replacement spine label tipped in to the rear of each volume, so these could be replaced if so wished. Each volume has the previous owners bookplate on the front pastedown. Volume I also has another previous owners name in ink and the date 1933. 266pp + 242pp as well as various addenda and notes to each volume. Several illustrations, and a folding map to the rear of each volume. Both maps have some foxing..
