Very Good. 16mo - over 5¾ - 6¾" tall. iv, 180 plus 4pp publisher's catalogue bound in at rear; beautiful black and white extra title page engravings plus further black and white engraved vignettes for each chapter heading. Green cloth-covered boards with blind embossed designs all over, gilt lettering on spine (now sun bleached) and gilt lettering and motif on front board. All edges gilt. Spine ends rubbed, corners gently rounded, faded. Some shelf wear mainly on verso. Previous owner's name on front free endpaper. Internally neat, clean and tight. 16mo.
