Orange-brown cloth spine with dark brown paper over boards; dark brown paper spine label printed in gilt. Color plates are within decorative borders. The black-and-white plates are from photographs by Burton Holmes. Title page printed in red and black. From a limited edition of 750 copies this is vol. 12 from the 16-volume set numbered 238. Pages are unopened. Scarce. In Very Good+ Condition: cover is rubbed; pages are clean and tight.
