Tokyo: Imperial Government Railways, 1915. 12mo, pp [4], 63; 34 plates, two folding charts and one color folding map; pictorial paper wrappers, stab stitched and decorated with purple tassels; edges, covers, and the corners of title page foxed, internally clean, very good. A stamp on the lower cover says this book was given out "Compliments of the Japan Tourist Bureau, Japanese Pavilion, Panama-Pacific Exposition Grounds, San Francisco" ie, the 1915 World's Fair. An attractive guidebook aimed at the western tourist, produced on Japanese paper in the fukurotoji format, and with interleaved plates.
