London: Archibald Constable & Co. Ltd, 1903. 1st Edition. 8vo pp296 complete with 4 colour plates with b/w illustrations throughout text. Hardcover no dust jacket. Original red binding with gilt decoration to front board and gilt lettering to spine in good condition with small tears and shelf wear to top and bottom of spine and some staining to boards. Inside all pages very clean and bright but for the odd finger marks. The hinge is a little cracked p145-160 but the binding is holding nicely. A nice copy of a scarce book
