Profusely illustrated with 246 magnificently photographed full color plates. Stated first edition. No previous ownership marks. Dust-jacket protected by clear acetate covers. A pristine copy, like new in dust-jacket. Acetate covers show light scratches on rear panel. Fine in a fine dust-jacket. Laid-in is a small staple bound pamphlet entitled "Later Japanese Lacquers", issued in conjunction with the exhibition held at the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco, July 18-November 15. 1987. The pamphlet contains a checklist of 55 items and is illustrated with color photographs of selected pieces. A large, heavy book, Priority and International orders will require additional postage, calculated as close to actual cost as possible. .
