Colour illustrated paper back binding with black and red coloured titles to the front panel and backstrip. Photograph of author to the rear panel. Green coloured tint to the text block edges. Number 64 of the J. E. McDonnell series of pulp Naval War fiction. The book is rubbed and creased. Scuffing to the book corners and to the backstrip edges. Reading creases to the backstrip. A previous owner has placed numerous numbers, in a black coloured marker, to the front panel and back strip. Signs of removal of a sticker to the top left-hand corner of the front panel and numerous states to the top edge of the rear panel. Sunning to the back panel with light browning to the pages.
