Very Good/very good. 8vo, blue cloth in pictorial dust jacket, book very good, inscription from 1930 on flyleaf, lightest wear and soil, jacket very good with some light wear and rubbing, spine with some faint tidemarks from old waterstains, a bit darkened, rear panel also tanned and with light rubbing and stains. About the Rabinowitz family and the rabbi's son who loved jazz and made a career of it in blackface on the stage, the action taking place in NY's Lower East Side and in the dance halls of San Francisco. Many film historians see this film as marking the end of the silent film era.
