Sobre este artículo
no place: Self-published, 1973. Soft cover. Near Fine. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Paris: Self-published, March 15, 1973. ALS (Autograph Letter Signed), 8 1/4" x 5 7/8", horizontal center fold for mailing. Near Fine, with just faint corners creases (see scan), from French SPAD fighter ace Jean Alfred Fraissinet. Fraissinet joined the French Army in early 1914 and rose to the enlisted rank of Brigadier later that year.In 1916 he was appointed an Aspirant, and underwent flight training. In 1917 he was assigned to Escadrille N57, where his combat career began. His eight victories earned him the Croix de guerre with five Palmes and an Etoile de bronze, as well as promotion from sous lieutenant to Lieutenant. After the war, he assumed management of his father's shipping company; in 1958, he was elected to the National Assembly. He died in 1981, eight years after writing this letter. Provenance provided to purchaser. Near fine condition, with no evident flaws other than perhaps a minor, even degree of age-toning. Extraordinarily scarce autograph. Please review scan. A scarce genre signature. leph2
