A pet project for Marlon Brando, about a CIA agent who returns to the field for one last case after years of retirement. Brando wrote the screenplay and planned to star in the lead role, with Cammell on board to direct. Shooting was slated to begin in Mexico in November, 1988, but Brando unexpectedly dropped out of the project months before filming began, citing insurance issues.
Black untitled wrappers. Title page present, dated 4/7/88, noted as SECOND DRAFT, with credits for screenwriter Marlon Brando. 138 leaves, with last page of text numbered 137. Xerographic duplication, rectos only. Pages Near Fine, wrapper Near Fine, bound with three gold brads.
