The cheap edition. In the publisher's original cloth with the original, very scarce, unclipped dust wrapper. This novel was written by the popular H. This adventure and romance story is set in South Africa during the conflict between the Boers and the English and follows the remarkable heroine, Jess.Publisher's advertisements to the rear. In the publisher's original cloth with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally excellent with only slight shelf wear. Bookplate belonging to 'Miss Helen C. The wrap is excellent with very small closed tears and light creasing to the extremities, marks and the odd very minor chip. Archival tape repair to the verso.
