Black covered boards with gilt lettering and decoration on the front and spine. Illustrations throughout, mostly B&W, by Kahlil Gibran. Stated to be the 1st and 2nd printings before the publication. There is a gift inscription on the front end paper dated Christmas 1928 in blue ink. A beautiful book, with clean pages and a tight binding. Still easily read. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 216 p. .
