Text in traditional Chinese. 20.1 x 14cm. Part of the Twenty-four Histories which are considered as the official history books for legitimate dynasties. This set was originally compiled by Song Dynasty official scholar Xue Juzheng (circa 912 - 981), covering the dynasties of Later Liang, Later Tang, Later Jin, Later Han, and Later Zhou. The popularity of the book was replaced by the New History of the Five Dynasties by Ouyang Xiu. .
