Sobre este artículo
London & New York: Frederick Warne & Co., 1935. Reprinted 1936 . Hardcover. Very Good/Good. The interior of the book is clean and fresh. The 16 colour plates are present. The paper has darkened to a light cream colour, but the pages show no wear or damage. The paper covering the front hinge has cracked, but the net binding remains intact. The blue covers are bright, with light wear at edges and corners, with two wringles visible in the material of the top left corner of the front panel. The dust jacket is price-clipped and is only in Good condition, with wear, chipping and darkening to the spine and edges. The jacket is now in a protective mylar cover. Synopsis: "Joan is a little girl who believes in fairies, and when the gardener tells her that the best place to find them is among the wild flowers, she goes in search of them. Tinkler the elf acts as guide, and Joan makes some wonderful discoveries." Note: The story mostly acts as an excuse for Tarrant's illustrations of flower fairies -- Forget-me-Not, Ragged Robin, Moon Daisies, etc.
