Sobre este artículo
Chicago: Chicago General Membership Branch Industrial Workers of the World, Chicago, USA, 1979. Assumed First Edition . Stapled Wraps. Very Good/No DJ Issued. The story of the Swedish-born , American labor organizer, (1879 - 1915) songwriter, cartoonist, satirical poet and member of the Industrial Workers of the World (Wobblies), who was accused of murder, convicted on circumstantial evidence and executed by the state of Utah. Hill was convicted for the 1914 murder of grocers based on the evidence of a same-night gun-shot wound to Hill, which was treated by a local doctor. A 2011 biography by William M. Adler conjectured that Hill was a shooting victim of a Swedish-born rival for the affection of a young woman who was romantically involved with both men. 32 page-pamphlet with text, lyrics & music for 'Workers of the World Awaken'; 'Casey Jones'; & 'The Preacher and the Slave'. Slight edge, corner wear and very slight soiling. Pages clean, tight and unmarked. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
