Mild edgewear; text faintly age toned, more so to endpapers. Revised American edition. A tight and nice early printing of this 1880 historical fiction, first published in Braunschweig, Germany in 1880. Entirely in German (title translation: "Johannes Knade's Self-Knowledge: Historical Tale from the Time of the Reformation.") Quandt was a German writer and educator (1841-1919).
