The dust jacket calls Buchan "energetic," but hyperactive might also fit--not only did Buchan climb mountains and write over fifty books, but he also served as a government administrator in South Africa, a Member of Parliament, a war correspondent for the Times, and Governor-General of Canada, by which time he was known as Lord Tweedsmuir. The author wrote a full-scale biography of Buchan which was published in 1965, but this shorter book benefits from papers and photographs that became available only after the death of Buchan's widow in 1977. You can place credit card orders through Biblio, or we will ship upon receipt of payment by check or money order. Sales tax is collected by Biblio and remitted directly to your state, where applicable.
