"The present monograph, which was originally written in English ... was sent in (May 28, 1912) ... as a thesis in fulfilment of the requirements for the 'Diplôme d'Études supérieures, ' Paris University"--P. ix. There is some light fraying to the top edge or the spine and to the corners; there is a very small tear in the gutter of the frontispiece portrait, maybe a quarter of an inch. Good, clean tight copy of an uncommon book in the first edition. $15.00 Box 12
