This book presents the major works of Sir John Soane (1753-1837) in b/w photographs and also the reproduction in colour of over 60 of the watercolours from the Soane Museum archives which in many cases remain the only surviving record of his work. The book also includes essays by Sir John Summerson, David Watkin and G.-Tilman Mellinghoff..
