Johnston, 1822). Volume Two: The Adventures of Johnny Newcome in the Navy, A Poem in Four Cantos with Notes, by John Mitford (Second Edition, Published for the Author, 1819). Both elegantly rebound in orange half-leather with four raised bands, red title box and gilt lettering on spines. Both volumes with marbled paper covered boards, white endpapers and colourful cloth bookmark. Some light foxing, soiling and off-setting within the textblock of each, with the first volume displaying generally cleaner pages than the second. Slight dampstain to margins of a couple of the early pages of each volume. Forepages of both volumes have tape repair to minor tears. Pages trimmed slightly in rebinding.
