Sobre este artículo
"JOSEPH JEFFERSON at Home" by Nathan Haskell Dole. 1898; Estes and Lauriat; Boston. The book is nicely illustrated with numerous full-page photographic plates. Gilt top page edges. Jefferson was widely considered to be one of, if not the, most famous actors of the 19th century; he was particularly well know for his adaptation and portrayal of Rip Van Winkle on the stage. Found tucked into the front of the book was an old magazine clipping showing "Two Views of Joseph Jefferson Enjoying Himself with His Hook and Line in Florida."
Condition:
There are some light stains on the covers. Bright gilt lettering on the front cover and spine. Tight binding with no cracks and no loose pages. Consistent mild foxing to the pages. "Theater" written lightly in pencil on the front end paper. Overall the book is in Good+ condition.
