Pennsburg, PA: The Schwenkfelder Library, 1953. Limited Edition . Hardcover. VG-. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. See photos for condition details. Hardcovers, two-volume matched set of a limited-edition of 500 copies, both of which are number 70. Volume 1 has blue cloth boards in volume 2 has light gray. Exterior shows scuffing and spotting along with edge and corner bumps. The spotting is more noticeable on volume 2 because of the color and you can also see the spine is sunned. The internal bindings are good, no hinge issues. No signatures or bookplates, no library markings, nothing torn or loose. Both volumes contain large foldout maps, the one in volume 1 (page 150) had an extra fold at the very end. This has been straightened out but the crease is still present. Text pages are overall clean but there are foxing spots in both volumes end pages and pastedowns. Volume 1 contains 273 pages, volume 2 has 307 pages (580 pages total). Stated first editions on the copyright pages.

Purchases will ship by US Media Mail or Priority Mail (if buyer selects) and higher priced items may have insured placed on the order and will typically ship within one business day. Additional postage may be required for multiple volume books or books weighing over 5 lbs., but only in unusual cases. Insurance is available upon request though we normally place insurance on any item of $75 or higher at no additional cost to the buyer. Non-US sales will ship by First Class International or Global Priority. Additional postage may be required for multiple volume books or books weighing over 4 lbs.
We always take extra care in packaging and shipping. Books are typically wrapped in packing paper or bubblewrap before packaged in a sturdt shipping box. All orders, even those shipped by US Media Mail, will be given a USPS tracking number which will be sent to the buyer so they will know when to expect arrival. Please let us know if there is a book with incorrect or missing photos. We recently moved the inventory to Biblio and a title or two may have had issues with the photos being transferred over.
Yesterday's Book shop is owned and operated by a disabled veteran. Due to my limitations, I often have to rely on speech-to-text software to list the books. If the description has typos ("and pages" instead of "end pages", pace downs instead of pastedowns, guilt instead of gilt, etc,) PLEASE let me know so I can correct the listing. The software spells words by phonetics and can make errors that I may not catch.

Yesterday's Book Shop is an independent, family-owned establishment. The store first opened in 1966 under the name Collector's Corner and was located in Western Maryland. The Collector's Corner dealt mainly in books but also sold stamps and assorted ephemera. In 1975 the name was changed to Yesterday's Book Shop when the store only offered books and printed matter. In the early 2000s the brick and mortar store was closed and now we only sell online.
