Fine First edition thus (original writings were published in 1793) in good slipcase. Very clean light beige boards with brown cloth spine, unchipped gold lettering on spine. No bumping, fading or wear. Binding is tight and square, hinges are sound, pages and edges are clean and bright. Clean map-illustrated endpapers; no names, writing or marks. Several full page black and white illustrations, including frontispiece. Unpaginated. Slipcase has faint water stain at one corner, a few tiny edge nicks; clean marbled paper label..
