The text is illustrated with contemporary black-and-white photographs and illustrations. Yellow coloured boards with black writing on the spine. Slight bumping to the head and to the heel of the spine and there are some marks to the cloth of the boards. Faint foxing to the paper edges. Slight foxing to the endpapers as well as some handling marks. Photographic dustwrapper, showing a side on view of Robert Louis Stevenson, with blue background and yellow and white writing on the front panel and spine. Slight rubbing and chipping to the dustwrapper corners and there is a little rubbing to the dustwrapper edges. Original bookseller's sticker on the front fold over lower right-hand corner.
