Sobre este artículo
Ward, Lock, & Tyler, London., [1873?]. First edition under this title, i.e. a reissue of Unsentimental Journeys (1867). Octavo. pp viii, 232. Twelve double-page plates. 16-page publishers' catalogue at rear. Pictorial rust-brown cloth blocked in gilt and black, bevelled edges. The author was a pioneer of investigative journalism, often working in disguise. It was dressed as a tramp that he gathered material for the book A Night in the Workhouse (1866).Front inner hinge cracked and neatly repaired. Very good indeed.
