Sobre este artículo

Baltimore; Johns Hopkins Press, 1948. Hardcover. Clothbound. 8vo. XII, 338 pages. 24 cm. First edition. Red cloth with gilt lettering. Israel Tabak, at the time of writing, was a Rabbi in Baltimore and the president of the Rabbinical Council of America, the umbrella body of Orthodox religious leaders in the United States and Canada. His "Judaic Lore in Heine" focuses on the Hebrew heritage of the German poet Heinrich Heine as influences upon his thought and art, with a conclusion that Heine's major contribution is that of a "harmonious blending" of Judaic culture with Western thought. Subjects: Judaism in literature. Heine, Heinrich, 1797-1856 -- Knowledge -- Judaism. Bible -- In literature. Ex-libris with a few markings and stamp. Cover lightly soiled, pages lightly aged, but clean and fresh throughout. Very good condition. (GER-36-2).
