Colour illustrated paperback binding with red and purple coloured titles to the front panel and green and orange coloured titles to the back strip. A carved wooden God-Totem of an African tribe has been put on display in a Manhattan art gallery, that also exhibits Veil Kendry's paintings. The God-totem is stolen – by a warrior prince from the tribe from whence the totem had been removed (read stolen) – and runs into the jungle of steel and stone that is Central Park. Veil is asked to find the warrior before the police and the mafia do. Rubbing of the book edges and panels with a little creasing of the lower book corners and reading creases of the back strip.
