Second edition of this scarce work which provides an exceptional source for the history of Eastern Washington and Oregon during the periods of the Indians wars, the cattle drives to Idaho, Montana and British Columbia mines from the 1850s through the 1880s. Of particular interest is the exhaustive account of Chief Ka-mi-akin, and the Yakima Indian wars and uprisings.
