Elaine's friend Marie obtained the signature for her and tucked in a dated snapshot of herself with Eddie at the signing on 17 September 1999. She has written on the back, 'A Special Bookmark - Eat your heart out!' On the verso of the page Fisher signed is an inscription from Marie to Elaine. 341 pages, index, b/w photo section. Fisher, 1928-2010, was a singer, actor & entertainer; married to Debbie Reynolds, Elizabeth Taylor, Connie Stevens & Betty Lin; and father of Star Wars actress Carrie Fisher (grandfather of Billie Lourd) and Joely Fisher. He was extremely popular in the 1950s, had several successful records, and was a TV show host. Great gift for an entertainment memorabilia collector, old movie buff, or classic Hollywood aficionado.

Finland: Monachia Willy Zeyn Filmproduktion, 1960. 1st Edition . No Binding. Fine. First Printing. A vintage, original, Finnish cinema-used poster for the first screening in Finland of the German WW2 movie, Strafbataillon 999. The film was first screened in Finland in 1960 with no further subsequent releases. Designed by the prolific poster-artist Engel and printed by Salonen Oy. Signed in the plate. A stunning example of cinema advertising art, this poster is in Fine, vibrant condition, approximate size is 23.5 inches by 15.5 inches, standard Finnish A2 format. SIGNS OF USE: A rolled poster with no folding creases. Pinholes to the top corners only. There is a small tear to the top right corner at the artist's name. Otherwise in really Fine condition. For the best appreciation of condition please study the accompanying photograph which is high resolution.

Finland: MGM, 1962. 1st Edition . No Binding. Near Fine. First Printing. A vintage, original, Finnish cinema-used poster for the first screening (1962) in Finland of Sam Peckinpah's acclaimed western, starring Randolph Scott (in his last film) and Joel McCrea. The film won the First Prize at Cannes and is nowadays considered as the director's first "Great" movie. The poster names the movie as "Guns in the Afternoon" which was its European title. Approximate size is 23.5 inches by 15.5 inches, standard Finnish A2 format. SIGNS OF USE: Near Fine condition. Unfolded. Pinholes to the corners. Short tear to the right edge (1cm). Handling crease to right side around the tear. Otherwise, in outstanding shape. Bright, clean and vivid. A striking poster for a really great movie. Finland: M.G.M., 1960. 1st Edition . No Binding. Fine. A terrific Finnish A2 one-sheet, cinema poster for the French-Italian movie of 1959, The Giant of Marathon (aka Battle of Marathon). The film was first screened in cinemas in Finland in 1960 with no subsequent releases of any description. This poster is not a modern reproduction and nor is it Video/DVD-related. This particular poster is a standard size 23.5" x 16" approx. It is in fantastic condition - unfolded and with no chips or tears to the edges - one small crease upper right corner. This is a cinema-used poster and there are pinholes but this is in really Fine - or better - condition. Beautifully illustrated and artist signature in the plate. A stunning example of vintage cinema art and design.

University of Washington Chapbooks, edited by Glenn Hughes, no. 7. The author, Edward Wagenknecht (1900-2004), was an American literary critic who also wrote on film. He received his PH.D. in 1932 from the University of Washington, where he taught from 1925 to 1943. This was his first published work. In Very Good+ Condition: head of spine rubbed; spine slightly faded; clean and bright.

Litho poster, [29 x 23 inches].Very good, some rippling, light edge wear. The poster features an aerial image of Manhattan (credited to Skyview Surveys) with several bold arrows pointing at the northwest corner of Union Square. The Underground disco was located in the basement of 860 Broadway, just above Union Square on the east side of Broadway. Warhol's Factory was also present in this building at the time. The poster lists events to take place the week of and on the day of the Gay Pride March on Sunday, June 27, 1982. No exemplars found in collections or in trade. All posters are presently stored between acid free boards, flat, under weight. They will be shipped rolled, in tubes.
