(The Pocket Poets Series, Number Fourteen) Series Trade PB The stated "Second Edition: February 1964" of Ginsberg's second published book, a poetic exploration of his mother's life, infused with his own musings about the meaning of life and death. Ginsberg's autobiographical statement about the work, on the rear cover, is dated August 28, 1963, and first appeared in this printing. .
