Orig. card wraps, sewn and glued binding. 223 pp. Sunning and a few stains to spine. Pages are age toned. Colonel Jonas Petruitis was a Lithuanian public and military figure. In 1940 he was arrested by the Soviets and placed in Kaunas hard labour prison. He wrote this testimony, "How they Shot Us," about the 1941 massacre of prisoners in Cervene.
