Sobre este artículo
Berlin: Bruno Cassirer, 1918. Third edition. Large octavo. Half linen over printed paper-covered boards; xxv,797pp; 2pp publisher's ads. Neat ink ownership signature to first blank. External soiling and wear, with bottom board edges rubbed through in spots; spine cloth slightly darkened; text remains fresh, clean, and tightly bound. A very good copy. Text entirely in German.
The first of three volumes in Cohen's monumental study of Kant, which helped to lay the groundwork for the German Neo-Kantian school of philosophers including Paul Natorp and Ernst Cassirer. First published in 1871, it was followed by Kants Begründung der Ethik (1877) and Kants Begründung der Aesthetik (1889). This third edition, published in the final year of Cohen's life, includes a new foreword by the author and reprints his forewords to the two previous editions.
