Original pale blue stiff paperback covers with brown lettering front and spine. The book has foxing spots to cover, faded spine, faded outside edge front cover, slight browning of pages but no foxing on pages, no previous owner marks or writing on any ages, solid binding. LACKING the dust jacket. The book measures 185mm tall x 142mm, and has 183 pages + [1], 32 b/w photos (including several that are double-page), 1 map. Belated account by member of G. Dyhrenfurth's 1934 international expedition to Baltoro Karakoram. First ascent of Sia Kangri (7424m), Baltoro Kangri East (7250m), & exploration of the Gasherbrum peaks (attempt on Hidden Peak) from the south. There is no English language version of this book.
