Bound in cream cloth-covered boards with embossed design and bright gilt titles on front and spine. Gilt top edge and wine colored ribbon marker. This is number 220 of 500 copies, signed and numbered by John Greenaway. 52 color plates. 90 sketches, thumbnails, and photos. Biography and correspondence, especially with John Ruskin. Sketch is of a young woman, seated, and with a pensive expression. VG/No Jacket. Rear hinge has exposed cloth, but holding well. Spine tips a little softened. Occasional foxing. We have served Colleges and Libraries since 1967 and opened to the Public in 1992 in a renovated c.1911 house built by Judge J.S. Scott and his wife, Pearl. Our Store specialty is Texana, both new and out-of-print. We also have a good selection of General Stock, with emphasis in Western Americana, Art, Architecture and History. We provide complete ordering services for in-print titles and diligently search for the hard-to-find or out-of-print title you desire.
