Sobre este artículo

London: Ward, Lock & Co, c1927 . Cloth. Very Good Indeed/Very Good. 8" by 5.5". None. A bright edition of Edgar Wallace's popular crime novel about teenage master criminal Kate Wasthanger, in a scarce illustrated dust wrapper. A scarce 1920s edition of Edgar Wallace's 1917 crime novel, in the publisher's original dust wrapper, price clipped.Adapted twice into films, in 1938 and 1966, Wallace's novel follows the attempts to capture eighteen-year-old criminal mastermind Kate Wasthanger, a colonel's niece and the strategist behind several increasingly successful swindles. Undated; dated from publisher's list of Wallace titles to verso of half title. The latest work appearing to this list is the 1927 novel 'The Man Who Was Nobody'. In the publisher's original cloth binding, with price unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, fine. Light sunning to dust wrapper back strip, with chipping to back strip head and tail, and small closed tears to front wrap. Small loss to tail of rear wrap. Light offsetting to dust wrapper reverse. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright. Very Good Indeed
