Sobre este artículo

(Cape Town: Purnell, 1974) 360002331. First edition. 4to; original white boards, lettered in brown on spine and upper cover; pictorial dustwrapper; pictorial endpapers; pp. (xvi) + 120; plates in colour and monochrome; map. Dustwrapper a little rubbed and edgeworn; trace of foxing to half-title. Very good condition. "KAVANGO is a unique photo study of the Kavango, tribes living in the isolation of the northern border lands of South West Africa adjoining Angola and Botswana. Virtually untouched by civilization until recent years these river people still practise many ancient customs handed down in an unwritten culture dating back many hundreds of years." .
