First edition publihsed 1912 (H-M) date code in Grosset and Dunlap dust jacket, very good olive cloth hardcover with illustrated cover shows some mild rubbing and shelf wear to covers, light soil and stain at page edges, thumb soil at fore edges of a few pages, couple of light internal splits and some other mild trace wear, in very good price-clipped G & D dust jacket that mild rubbing and soil and light edgewear that includes tiny chips and tears. 309 pages with six illustrations including frontipiece and map. Still an attractive copy of this last of the Ken Ward adventures which developed from Grey's adventures down a tropical river in Mexico.
