Black and white photographic plates throughout and similar frontispiece. Signed dedication from the author on front free endpaper. Pages bright with some tanning and foxing, particularly to textblock edges and endpapers. Binding remains firm. Boards have moderate shelf wear with mild bumping and fraying to corners, crushing and fraying to spine ends and rubbing and slight staining all over. Boards are slightly bowed. Unclipped jacket has heavy edge wear with chipping, rubbing and marking. All surfaces moderately tanned.
