Ted Williams, as his readers must now be aware, is a man who has a very high regard for the locality in which he has spent his life and for the more peaceful times just gone. The response to Ted's first Album was very complimentary and so much new material found its way into his hands that he had no alternative but to compile a sequel. Inevitably all life is transient and Ted has been saddened by the loss of several friends as well as redevelopment of noted landmarks. However, it is an acknowledged fact that although established architecture adds to the general ambience of a place it is the people who create the continuity of village life. He would hope that in reading this sequel older villagers can be proud of the past in which they have played an integral role and that new residents will acquire a sense of belonging to a community wit a history.
